Singin' the Loose Tooth Blues

Alex's first tooth fell out yesterday! What an eventful day that was. He just can't wait for the next one to go!

She's Too Young to Headbang...

Yesterday Alicia ran toward her bureau and must have tripped (of course when no one was looking--that's when they always hurt themselves!!!) and fell SMACK into the edge of it. She came out of it with about a 1/2" of a deep cut. We took her to the walk-in clinic at Fanny Allen and they glued her head back together.

"Could you see her brains falling out??" --Alex

"I'm otay mommy!"


Somehow, I have a feeling that Alicia is going to be the one who breaks her arm falling out of the tree and not Alex...

Memorial Day at G.G.'s

Winding...down? or UP!?!

Fish Fry!

So I was a little unsure of how to fry up a trout since I have only cooked fish from the grocery store that are all nice and filleted. What do I do? Ask Ma!

Thankfully she was more than happy to help!

The finished product! Alex ate about 1/3 of it. I think he was a little unsure of it. Mom ate the tail fin!! haha!
And I ate peanut butter and fluff....

Fishing Derby!!

Today we went to the Franklin Fishing Derby at some pond I can't remember the name of!! There were 113 kids there fishing and 250 fish that were stocked in the pond.

He got one!

Poor thing swam upside down for a bit, righted himself, and then got his head chopped off and his guts ripped out!!!

This fish won the biggest catch prize. He wasn't even supposed to be in there! Brook trout were stocked and this was a Brown Trout I think...
