Desert Oasis

I love palm trees!!!!!

They are so beautiful and mystical to me.

Don't you just want to jump in and relax in paradise? Probably a bad idea since Arizona water ain't the best quality...

A wild animal!!!! Yay!!! :)

Sunsets from Hole in the Rock

What a perfect angle!! I really was excited to get this one!

This was down in the park area. Lovely sky...

Just after the sun went down...the sky was so golden it was surreal...

The other part of the sky...over Phoenix airport. I love the sketchy clouds and pinkness of the lower sky. I think this one enlarges...you will see more detail that way.

Hole in the Rock...We Came, We Saw, We Conquered, We Lost the Car Keys!!

Mimi made it!! Only 120 degrees out!
Taking a water break at the top

Marie had to lose her shoes because she was wearing girlie sandals!!

This is the treacherous, dangerous, exhausting rock we climbed up!! Haha just kidding!

When we had climbed this rock and had seen the beautiful view of Phoenix airport and a gorgeous sunset, Marie realized she didn't have her keys in her pocket! She did have her cell phone so we called AAA and waited for an hour in the dark in this probably not safe area. We searched every where (including a certain wet rabbit hole...) and couldn't find them. I suggested she may have left them in the truck and yep there they were! Too bad the doors were locked! So we climbed the rock a few more times to kill time and then sat at the top and told silly stories to each other. It was actually a really fun time for me!

Doggies!!

Now, I am allergic to dogs and I usually can't stand being around them but when we were in Scottsdale I visited my good friend Marie and met her new Sheba Innu named Kiba! He is so cute!! I almost want one :) Buuuuuuut I have those three little kitties that probably wouldn't like that too much...and Alex hates dogs so I guess that ain't ever going to happen! Here are some cute pics of him and her Boxer Zues!

Kiba Scratchin'

What a Ham!

Kiba and Zues

This picture cracks me up!!! Kiba looks just like a person to me! And Zues poking his nose out you can almost tell what they are thinking!

My Favorite Grand Canyon Pics

I am actually impressed with how these came out. It was so hazy this day and the canyon looks like a painting already so I was afraid these would look blah. I love the one with the blue sky and clouds above! Definitely want to go back and hike down there for a couple of days!! These are the South Rim by the way...in case anyone knows the difference!
