Christmas 2006!

We had 3 different Christmas celebrations in one day! We started out at my house with Daddy coming over for breakfast, and cooking breakfast for us! He did a great job and it was waaaaaaaaay better than the Lucky Charms I was going to have!! :)

The Breeyear-Potvin Christmas Tree

Daddy shows Alicia how to run the Sesame Street thingamajiggy

"Is this Electronic Battleship???"

Nope just the regular kind

"Hey its Bubba Fat" (or whatever you call it I have no idea!)

Christmas Portrait Number 2!

On to Potvin house #2: Kimmy and Keith (or Teef as Alicia calls him!)

Alicia dove right in as you can see; she was on a roll!

Taking a breather; adorable snowman dress contributed by Christine P.

What do I open and play with first??

Kimmy tried to help but nothing can stop the present monster

I think the stress was getting to her!

"This is Momma Dora and that's baby Dora!"

Let's hope she doesn't try to give THIS doll a haircut! You should see the hack job she did on Oscar!!

"Hmmmm no fleas!"

Alicia was finally done opening gifts and I think she wanted to unwrap more...!

And now the grand finale: The Breeyear family Celebration!

First we ate...

Seesaw's famous Christmas Lasagna

There is a tree under there somewhere...

Alex was SUPER happy to get his new backpack!

This is Alicia after she had a meltdown because some of her presents were in bags instead of being wrapped. Yes I did give her a time out for being such a diva!

Me showing off the headband that Sarah gave me which just happened to match my shirt! Sisters!

First Christmas Party of the Year!

Today was the St. Michael's College annual Christmas party! There was a ton of cool arts and crafts projects for the kids to do and Alex raced through each station and made some great ornaments for the tree!! Alicia was due for a nap but she made it through most of it without being too difficult. She wanted to draw the entire time but got into other crafts as well. After the craft time was Santa whom both kids didn't want anything to do with. I thought Alex would be brave but he said it wasn't the real Santa and that he didn't need to tell anyone what he wanted for Christmas because Santa is always watching him. Too smart for his own good!!

Alicia's hair is starting to grow on me. I washed and conditioned it and fluffed it out a bit and when I put it up in a ponytail it looked really cute. I just didn't want her to have bangs but she IS a little girl so I guess its just inevitable. NO ear piercing Rocky, ok?? haha!!

Alicia's First Haircut

Before:

After:

Honestly I liked it better before. I don't think the hairdresser did a very good job on the front but I guess at least she doesn't have it in her face any more. She has a mullet now!!!! Sigh. Hopefully it will grow out a bit by Christmas.

Thanksgiving!!

Every year we go to G.G.'s house for Thanksgiving. I can't remember a Thanksgiving anywhere else! This year was nice because Alicia was old enough to sit mostly still at the table and not take off a million times during dinner!!

Aunt Sarah and Uncle Matt arrive

Alex is always happy to see SeeSaw

Veggie and cracker table

The infamous dyslexic place setting--poor Sarah will never live it down!

Look at that yuuuuummy turkey!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Finally we can eat!!

She started out in my arms, got traded to Grandpa, and then pawned off on Grandma!
